Bio
Iqbal graduated from Stanford University with degrees in biology and creative writing. He completed his MFA degree in film production from USC's School of Cinematic Arts.

In 2007, he co-produced a theatrically-released feature film entitled SPLINTER. He was then selected by Creative Artists Agency and Boost Mobile to direct a short horror film introducing the "Next Great Horror Villain." Iqbal's film, STEM, premiered at Screamfest 2007 and was the recipient of the "Best of the Next" award, winning the short film category at the festival.

Boost Mobile subsequently commissioned him to write the feature script for STEM. He is currently in the process of seeking financing for that project with successful horror producer Brian Witten. Iqbal has also developed feature and webisode projects with Sam Raimi's company, Ghosthouse Pictures, as well as Monsterfoot Films, a Disney production company.

Iqbal is currently represented by CAA and Evolution Management for theatrical work and RW Media for music videos. He has a number of other feature film and music video projects in the pipeline.
